BOOTH, Anthony Frank (Tony)

Family and friends of the late Anthony Booth are invited to attend the celebration of his life which will

be held at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester and Son Funeral, 359 Wantigong Street, North Albury on Tuesday 6th October 2020, commencing at 10.30am.

Current Covid 19 restrictions on numbers attending and social distancing will apply.

    Tony Booth aged 85 fought a brave battle for the past 2 years but eventually illness became too much and Dad passed away peacefully in hospital on the 23rd September. 2020
    Husband to Mavis, father to four daughters and father in law to Sheila and David, Christine and Eddy, Janet and John, Sandra and Mike. Grandad to Amanda, Brett, Tanya, Dale, Ashley, Melissa and Leighton. Great Grandad to Brandon, Oliver, Kaylee, Cooper, Elliot, Charlotte, Noah and Oliver.

    I had the pleasure of Tony’s company, at various times, while on shiftwork at Hazelwood, in the 1970s. He was a good workmate and good company.

    Members of Yinnar Bowls Club were saddened to hear that Tony had passed away. Not only was Tony one of the Founding Members of our Club and an accomplished bowler, but he was also our first accredited Umpire and a very active Committee Members. Our sincere condolences are extended to Tony’s family.
