Lindsay, you will always be a part of our Family and missed more than you realise. You will be remembered for your sense of humour and stirring always having a beer in hands reach.Except at breakfast when you would have Bacon & eggs cooking.
The day you made me climb the Fire watch Tower where you would spend your weekends watching for fire outbreaks in the Hot summers and protecting the Mitta Valley. You could see for kilometers up there. The call outs when there was a fire & sometimes you would be gone for a couple of days or more.
We will always remember the holiday in Ceduna 40 degree heat, fishing for whiting, watching outside of the pub window at the Indiginous kids playing on the jetty and the comments you made that would get you arrested by todays laws. LOL So many good and sad memories we shared with your family.
Rest in Peace my friend. Love Marj & Sue Smith & grandson Jarrod Butler.
