    Dearest Colin,
You were a great mate to my Dad and a huge part of our lives. Your cheeky laugh and love of the slightly raunchy joke will live with us forever.
Life won’t be the same without you.
COVID stops us being with you on this day but we are all watching to make sure you don’t get up to any final mischief!
Wherever you are now – enjoy it with the same vigour you lived life.
    We will miss you.

Col will be sorely missed by his friends.
His passing has robbed us of one of Australia’s national treasures.
We are all the better for knowing him.

Well Col, here I sit dram in hand, thinking about our early day.
We got up to all sorts of mischief as brothers do. I was 21 when you left for Australia. It took myself 15 Years to see the light and follow you down under! Except I didn’t realise how far Adelaide was from Albury! It was Christmas 1967, that you made that trip to see us! You became my big brother again!
All the best on your journey, say hi to my Ian!
