Family and friends of the late Mrs Doreen Hicks are informed that the celebration of her life will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St North Albury on Monday February 27, 2017 commencing at 10:30am, followed by a private cremation.

Adored and loving wife of Sidney George Hicks (dec). Devoted mother of Robert, Suzanne, Peter and Gregory. Loved nanna to Matthew Hicks, Fiona Spencer (Hicks), and Mick Spencer. Great nan of Archie and Charlotte.
Dearly loved daughter of Herbert and Isabella (both dec). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Sylvia and Syd (dec) Parsons, Ralph and Beryl, Edith and Herb (Spud) King (both dec), and all of their nieces and nephews.
My thoughts are with Doreen’s family on their sad loss.
I am so pleased I got to visit Doreen at Southern Cross in the past few weeks, and had one last chat and hug.
I have fond memories of our Asthma Foundation meeting days, and our many chats as neighbours.
A delightful lady now at rest.
