Family and friends of the late Mr Ian Morrison are invited to the celebration of his life which will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong, St North Albury on Wednesday 4th September 2019 commencing at 2.30pm.

Passed away peacefully at Lutheran Aged Care, Dellacourt, Albury, with family by his side. Adored father of Andrew, Simon and George. Cherished father-in- law of Nicole, Rebecca and Simon. Pa to his grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Beau, Zoe, Gracie, Jorja, Nicholas, Archer, Ivy and Alice. Loving brother of Donald (dec) and Janet.

I am sorry to hear that both David and Donald have passed away. Their father Donald Norman Irving Morrison was my father’s ( Bob Barnes) army Captain in the 2/29th Battalion. They served in Malaya and were imprisoned in Changi for 3 years. The two men were good friends. When I was a child we visited Norman and Ivy in Benalla. I am trying to get in touch with any member of the family who has a transcript of Norman’s original Changi diary as it mentions my father quite a bit because he was a Batman to Norman. The diary available on the internet from the Canberra War Memorial differs from the one I saw when I was a child. Hoping you can help. Robert Barnes, 0458963482
