The Eucharistic Celebration of the life of Sr Barbara Murray R.S.M. will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mate St, North Albury on Monday 30th November 2015 commencing at 11:00am. A burial will follow at St John’s Cemetery, Dunne Cres Thurgoona.

I wish to express my gratitude for the life and service of Sr Barbara Murray. I was particularly blessed by having her as my tutor and lecturer in Catholic Life programs in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn – Basic Theology and Catholic Adult Faith Formation in 2007 and 2008.
The Kairos community in Canberra and the Monaro gives thanks for the love, generosity and wisdom of Sister Barbara, who mentored many of us. Her unwavering support of women affected by the imprisonment of family or friends, and her great faith brought many to the wholeness that can only be found at the feet of our Lord Christ.
We know she will still be praying for us, and cheering us on from the throne room of heaven.
