    WELLARD, FATHER COLIN
    15.3.1932 – 15.6.2017

Passed away peacefully at home in Albury on 15th June 2017. Dearly loved husband of Robin. Loved and loving father and father in law of Jann and Trevor, Helen and Mark, Megan and Greg. Papa to five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Loving brother of Elizabeth.

Faithful Priest to the people of the Armidale, Riverina and Wangaratta Dioceses for 57 years.

When for a while we part.
This thought will soothe our pain
That we shall still be joined in heart
    And one day meet again.

Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.

Colin was a true man of God, a gentle, kind and wise counsellor. I feel blessed to have known him and my heartfelt sympathy goes to Robin and family. My love to you all and I regret I am unable to be at the celebration on Colin’s life tomorrow. Gwllynes Axe

Dear Robin and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Father Wellard was a true priest and blessed man
A man we truly loved and respected. We remember many happy times of him coming to our house for companionship and meals. He married me to my beautiful husband (45 years and still going strong) and officiated at my mothers funeral. I still have his hand written eulogy

    God bless all of you.
